Crossing the Border

After a completely annoying bus ride where we stopped for every single passenger in 1 kilometre increments, we finally made it to the border. Once again I didn’t have proof of onward travel, but I managed to still make it across the border without too much of a hassle. A local helped me and I gave him a few bucks as a tip. I also found a Panamanian guy who exchanged money for me at an extremely fair rate. It was the first time I had ever received anything even remotely close to fair since I entered the country. The best part about crossing the border is the infamous bridge. Buses and 18 wheelers cross it, which is mind boggling, because I was a little nervous about simply walking across it. Very interesting experience.
